Deb Cunningham
Head Coach
I began my competitive skating career at the age of 9 once I had completed the learn to skate program at the Hamill Rink. Until the age of 17, I skated competitively for the Windy Hill Skating Club and trained at multiple rinks in the tri-state area. I began as a teaching assistant at 15 years old at the Hamill Rink and have been teaching ever since. I have coached competitive skaters and was an assistant hockey coach for 5 years for the GSC Wings U14 and U12 girls teams. I live in Greenwich with my husband and raised our three children who all skated for GSC. This will be my 22nd year teaching at GSC

Diane
McCray
Coach
After over 30 years of teaching skaters of all ages, there is always something new to learn in this beautiful sport. I started skating at age 6 and enjoyed our frequent visits to the rink, but I didn't start lessons until in my teens. Later, I started teaching and haven't stopped (except during the Covid-19 lockdown). I taught for over a decade in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. While there, I was asked to design costumes and sets for the numerous skating shows. In addition, I designed and sewed many dresses for the competitive skaters at the rink. I've had the privilege of being the PSA Hawaii State Education Director. As I try never to stop learning, I've attended several judges' schools over the years and many PSA and USFS seminars.
My additional skating history includes:
USFS tests passed
Silver Free Dance
Bronze Singles
PSA rated in Moves-in-the -field (Skating Skills) and freestyle
See you on the ice!
